3.7 million people currently are at risk in Somalia from the severe drought which is affecting the region.

PartnerAid is providing vital aid to communities in northwest Somalia (Somaliland), meeting immediate needs through the delivery of clean water and working to solve the long-term water shortages by exploring alternative water sources.

PartnerAid's Somalia program meets immediate needs and works alongside rural communities for sustainable solutions, supporting their lives and livelihoods so that they not forced to abandon their homes and communiteis in a desperate bid for survival as a refugee.

Emergency Care for an Infant in Somaliland

PartnerAid is working in Somaliland (northwestern region of Somali) since 2009. In collaboration with local communities, we operate a health program and support community development initiatives. We cooperate closely with the Ministry of Health of Somaliland and about 50 communities in  Salahley district. Our work is implimented by a talented team of Somali and international staff.

Dr. Khader joined PartnerAid in October 2010. His medical knowledge, compassion and servant-heart have translated into deep impact for communities in rural Somaliland. 

Dr. Khader says: "I like training the community based organizations and the community health promoters in order to empower the villages for development; I like to help ill and suffering people with my medical background.
