The situation in Somalia remain stressed. In the rain season only 25% of the usual water rained down. PartnerAid has send several water tankers to the most affected villages in our project area. In the following weeks we plan to drill for water sources together with a partner agency, in order to secure water for the affected villages, and to prevent a similar fate that has hit the population in the South of the country.
Our goal is to prevent the movement of the village population to refugee camps. Refugee camps,in our experience, contain a high risks of communicable diseases, social unrest and the self help abilites, the social network as well as human dignity are largely affected.
Our goals in the North-West of Somalia:Please donate now! For the people at the Horn of Africa!
