Deputy Country Director

Role:

The Deputy Country Director assists the country director in overseeing and leading PAI activities in Pakistan. He/She supervises staff and represents PAI in the capital Islamabad towards government, partners and donors. He/She takes active role in establishing strings to new donors and developing new project strategies, including proposal writing.

What applicants offer:

Team Player; advanced management and communication skills; experiences in relief and development work in NGOs; fluent in English.

Start:

Duration:

minimum 1 year

WASH Expert

Role:

Assist the project management in flood relief projects; supervision of phase I response (WASH activities); planning and implementation of reconstruction of water supplies and sanitation facilities in flood effected communities, including field visits.

What applicants offer:

Degree in WASH related subject; team player; experiences in WASH relief responses or development projects; fluent in English.

Start:

September 2010 or earliest possible

Duration:

1-6 months

SHELTER Expert

Role:

Assist the project management in flood relief projects; planning and implementation of shelters set-up for flood victims (tents, huts); incl. logistics, trainings, field visits.

What applicants offer:

Degree in related subject; team player; experiences in shelter construction in relief responses or development projects; fluent in English

September 2010 or earliest possible
