The vision of PartnerAid is a world in which every person has access to the resources they need to live life free from poverty.
The mission of PartnerAid is to partner with poverty affected communities, in least developed countries, partnering with them in relief and empowering them to lead their own development projects, recognising culture as a key to their sustainability.
Our work is based on a Christian ethos, reflected in our core values of integrity, relationship and equality.
" Bee the change you want to see in the world" Gandhi
We believe our principles should be displayed in our actions. We recognise that we can only hope to produce into others what we ourselves live out and evidently value. As PartnerAid we cannot expect the communities we work with to embrace new ideas if we ourselves are not open to change and continuous learning.
Relationships
We value relationships highly, believing every person has the capacity to have a positive impact on another. We consider the practice of graciousness, forgiveness and encouragement as essential to our relationships. Facilitating trust-building relationships and unity within communities and societies where this has been damaged, is essential in empowering others for development.
We believe all people are equal and we should treat all we encounter with respect and love. We value people of every race, gender, faith, sexuality, class, age and political viewpoint and recognise the importance of cultural diversity.
