PartnerAid is an international organisation with its international office based in Germany. The work of PartnerAid is supported by other PartnerAid sister charities in the Netherlands, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States. This group of charities meets regularly and shares a joined committment, mission and vision.
In its project areas, PartnerAid, conducts its projects wherever possible in cooperation with local project partners. All work is done in a community based approach. Where this is not possible, PartnerAid operates projects itself through its international office, until capable project partners can take over.The sister charities are mainly involved in mobilisation, public relations and networking. The PartnerAid international office coordinates the projects, represents the organization on an international level and is involved in the training of project partners and staff.
Decisions of the PartnerAid charities are carried by their membership bodies.
